The 24th European Congress of Lepidopterology, organized by the Society for European Lepidopterology (SEL), will be held August 18-23, 2025 in Svatý Jan pod Skalou, Český Kras, Czech Republic. The congress wil be jointly organized by the Biology Centre, Czech Academy of Sciences, České Budějovice, University of Life Sciences, Prague, Czech Nature Conservation Agency and Czech Butterfly Conservation (SOM).

The Society for European Lepidopterology is an international non-governmental organization with ca. 400 members across the world. Many members are proffessionals working in the field of Entomology or Nature Conservation, however, a large proportion consists of amateurs, butterfly and moth enthusiasts, studying these amazing organisms in their free time.
