The congress excursions will be in Wednesday August 20 afternoon in two parallel sessions, one staring in one site, the second at the other and then switching the places
The first excursion area is at Koněprusy Caves, an area topping an active chalk quarry, with a species rich steppe grassland and several non-active quarries, full of butterflies and specific vegetation. The second excursion covers the castle Karlštejn, a medieval castle founded in 1348 by King Charles IV.
We plan two post-congress excursions, the details will appear soon.
